The hotel was beautiful, service was outstanding, and the rooms are elegant and comfortable. The buffets had a wide variety of foods but I would have liked the quality of the food to be a bit better. The restaurants that had menus (non-buffets) had excellent food. We weren't happy with the location of our first room and after inquiring with reception several times, on the third day they moved us to one of the best rooms in the resort - steps from beach and a beautiful view. We were very happy overall.

Great Beach!!!! Food was good. Hubby had as many lobster tails as he liked each night!! Rooms are HUGE, but layout is odd..no changing area. Nice shopping area connected to hotel. Overall a great time.

I have been here since last saturday 1/15 and now it is thursday 1/20 and this place is great ! Its like camp for adults. The food is good the service people are very friendly and helpful the rooms clean the Michael Jackson show was out of this world - like a show that you would see in Vegas. The beach is beautiful not crowded and lots of room out front. There are many different restaurants to eat from and I have no complaints at all. I had read all the stuff on here and was not sure what I would end up with but everything is GREAT!!! We have already decided to come back to this same place next year and invite more people. There are all sorts of activities all day and evenings. Bring some dressy clothes for the happy hour parties and the nice restaurants... otherwise just your bathing suits and shorts/t-shirts. There is no reason to leave this resort its all here. The ride from airport was about 30 mins and was on a very nice bus. We had transportation from travel agency and it was great.

I just came back today from MAJESTIC COLONIAL with my family. I will say the hotel needs put some maintanence into it. The theatre has lots of broken tiles by the stages, plus it is a very low stage for this hotel. The pool is beautifull put again the landscaping by it needs to be pedicured, the pool has a lot of broken tiles, she showers were clogged ...a total mess. To top it off, the first day that we got there, my daughter found a napkin in her salad. Then, that same night we found a dead rat by our table in the disco!!! this was tooo much for us. But, I have to say...I have been to several all inclusive hotel in punta cana for the last 13 years. But this hotel offers a great variety of food, so much 24 hours round clock. Lots of fish and seafood everyday. The suites need major renovations with the furniture, the AC UNIT IN MY SUITE will not let us sleep, it's sounded like a hammer all night. the animation and the shows a total disaster!!! Will never go back to this hotel
