When we arrived we were in the room for about 15-20 minutes and my son found marijuana and rolling papers in the dest drawer. We immediately called the front desk to send someone up to remove it. The we got stuck in the elevator for 15-20 minutes and no one ever came to apologize. Other than these two issues the hotel was great.

My wife and I originally were scheduled for a 2 night stay. When we arrived for check in, the first thing I noticed were the tip jars displayed next to each clerk. I thought that was very inappropriate. The hotel has great location but it is getting a bit dated. The first room we were assigned had a musty odor and threadbare carpet. I went down to the front desk and we were given a different room. This was a little better. The hotel was very crowded and there were long waits for everything including the manger's reception, and as far as breakfast, when it is that crowded, forget about trying unless you want to wait about 1 hour. You would be better off going to the buffet at Fridays. This was not the romantic getaway we had envisioned and as a result we checked out after 1 night.

While the hotel at first seemed a bit high cost for our purposes, once there we found it more than worth the cost. The room(s) were large and clean and well stocked. There were wonderful breakfasts each morning that were included as well as free drinks each evening. Our only disapointment was with the TGIF that was attached.....we ever did eat there as just the long wait time for a table (at a resturant where there was almost no one dining) did not bode well for a dining experience. My only complaint would be the parking arrangements. The cost of parking was $*/day but $*/day if you used valet. Because of the way it is set up (and the hours) using regular parking was out of the question for us due to our schedules so we were forced to use the valet. This was honestly vastly overpriced. Also, trying to get us to up-grade to a 'falls-view room' at check-in was not really appreciated. The hotel was friendly, quiet and clean. The location was perfect. If we had been there only to see sights and vacation and relax....it would not have been a better spot as it is within waling distance of most everything. As it was, we had business in the area but still found time to see some sights.
